WHY NYC?
In a city where everything moves fast and nothing feels secure, something happens inside you. You achieve what you're supposed to achieve. You build the life you thought you wanted. And then you realize it's not enough, at least, not by itself. You're surrounded by millions of people and still feel profoundly alone. You long for a love that doesn't depend on your performance. A hope that's solid. A sense that your life actually means something beyond it just looks like on the outside. We believe that kind of life is real. We believe it's found in Jesus.
Renewal Church exists to help people experience what it feels like to be loved unconditionally.
Renewal Church exists because every human heart longs for a love that doesn't use us, leave us, or grow weary of us. In the life of Jesus, we see a love that moves toward the lonely, welcomes the outsider, forgives the guilty, and gives itself for others. We believe this kind of love is not just an idea to consider — it is a person to encounter. Our vision is to help people experience the love of Jesus in ways that heal shame, restore dignity, awaken hope, and invite them into the life they always suspected was possible but maybe was thought to be too good to be true.
Meet Trenton & Griffin
Trenton and Griffin, along with their boys Drake and Jax, carry a deep love for New York City and the people who call it home. They came here because they believe something is shifting in this city. More people are asking the deep questions. More people are looking for something genuine beneath the noise and the hustle. People are looking for a place to be loved without having to perform, to belong and be known, and to discover what life to the full really feels like. Trenton and Griffin believe they know where that kind of life comes from, and they believe anyone can have it! They moved to the city to spend their lives helping people find what they were created for.
Whether somone has believed in Jesus for years, are just starting to wonder, or aren't sure they believe anything at all and have a ton of questions, they'd love to grab coffee and get to know you!
The Road to Launch
As we prepare to plant Renewal Church in Manhattan, each step is intentional — building partnerships, forming a launch team, and laying a strong foundation for Fall 2027.
